Recombinant Human IL-12 Protein

Stock: In Stock
Model: GMP-TL508

    Product Overview

Recombinant Human Interleukin-12 (IL-12) is a potent cytokine composed of two subunits, p35 and p40, that plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses. IL-12 is pivotal in promoting the differentiation of naive T cells into Th1 cells, enhancing the cytotoxic activity of natural killer (NK) cells, and stimulating the production of interferon-gamma (IFN-γ). This protein is essential for research in immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases.

    Key Features

1.High Purity: Purified using advanced chromatographic techniques, this product achieves a purity level of over 95%, ensuring accurate and reproducible experimental results.
2.High Biological Activity: Validated through multiple activity assays, this IL-12 protein effectively promotes T cell differentiation and NK cell activity, making it suitable for a range of research applications.
3.Batch Consistency: Produced under stringent quality control measures to ensure high consistency between batches, reducing variability and enhancing experimental reliability.
4.Animal-Free: Manufactured without the use of animal-derived components, adhering to animal-free standards and broadening its applicability for diverse research needs.

    Applications

    • Immunology Research: Study the role of IL-12 in the regulation of immune responses, including the differentiation of T cells and the activation of NK cells, providing insights into immune mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.
    • Oncology: Explore the effects of IL-12 on tumor immunity, including its ability to enhance the cytotoxic activity of immune cells against cancer cells, contributing to the development of immunotherapeutic approaches.
    • Infectious Diseases: Investigate the role of IL-12 in host defense mechanisms against infections, offering valuable information for the development of new treatments for infectious diseases.
    • Vaccine Development: Utilize IL-12 in the design and testing of vaccines to enhance immune responses and improve vaccine efficacy.
